If access to any of your accounts expires you'll be shown a warning prompting you to renew acess to them:

We understand that many users will have concerns about the safety and security implications of importing their Jagex Characters into RuneMate, so we have prepared this FAQ to provide clarity on how it works and the steps we've taken to ensure your safety.
Why do I need to log in?
To import your data, we need your permission through official Jagex OAuth login page. This ensures you stay in full control - we never see your password, and we only gain access to information needed to launch new clients.
Is this safe?
Yes. Here's how we protect you:
We can't access your account.
We cannot log in as you, see your private data, or perform actions on your behalf. OAuth gives us only a limited, read-only token for the specific data needed to launch clients on this machine.
Alternative: Launch client via Jagex Launcher
If you still do not feel comfortable importing your characters from your Jagex Account, you can instead launch RuneLite clients from the actual Jagex Launcher. This requires a patch to be applied to the Jagex Launcher which allows RuneMate to find and attach to these clients.
This option can be found in the "Edit" menu:

RuneMate will automatically search for your RuneLite in the default location, but if it cannot find it you may be prompted find it yourself:
